The Greensboro Grasshoppers have announced the 2009 season schedule, which starts on April 9th at NewBridge Bank Park against the Greenville Drive.

The season runs from April 9 through September 7 and features a total of 140 games, 70 home and 70 away. 

Game times will remain the same for the upcoming season with Monday through Saturday games starting at 7:00pm and Sunday games at 5:00pm.  

Other promotional dates for the season are being finalized and will be released at a later date.

“We are diligently working to add promotions and enhance the fan experience even more for next season,” said Greensboro Grasshoppers President Donald Moore.  “The team has a favorable schedule and we plan to make the most of it.”

The Grasshoppers have welcomed over 1,750,000 fans to NewBridge Bank Park, becoming the only Class A team in the history of Minor League Baseball to draw over 400,000 fans and grow its attendance for four straight years in a new ballpark.  They are the proud recipients of both the South Atlantic League's Club Merit Award and the General Manager of the Year Award for the past four years.
