NewBridge Bank Park Information from A to Z

ALCOHOL
Beer is available at all concession stands including the GoTriad Grandstand; limit two drinks per person per purchase. North Carolina law prohibits the selling to or purchase of alcohol to minors under the age of 21. Each customer must present valid picture identification at the time of purchase. All beer sales will conclude with the first pitch of the 8th inning on a regular basis, however, Grasshopper management reserves the right to discontinue beer sales without notice and/or refuse the sale of beer to any individual. A Grasshopper staff member will gladly call a cab for anyone that has had too much to drink. Alcohol is not permitted in the YMCA Family Section (114).

AUTOGRAPHS
Asking players for autographs is a baseball tradition and highly encouraged at NewBridge Bank Park. For your safety, we ask that you seek autographs from the sides of both dugouts (Sections 112 and 110; and 103 and 105) from the time that the gates open until 30 minutes before game time. Players are not permitted to sign autographs during the game.

No beverages, food, or containers may be brought into NewBridge Bank Park.

BIRTHDAY AND ANNIVERSARY ANNOUNCEMENTS
Let us know whose special day it is!  We will do our best to make your greeting memorable during the specified “Grasshoppers Birthday Inning”. (Please note that this segment often continues into later innings of the game) This service is free of charge, however, all requests must be submitted by 9:00 a.m. the day of the game you wish to have your annoucement seen.

CAMERAS/VIDEO EQUIPMENT
We encourage the use of cameras and video cameras at NewBridge Bank Park. However, fans may not reproduce the game or interfere with any other fans enjoyment of the game.

CONCESSIONS
There are three full-service concession stands as well as numerous vending carts located on the concourse sure to tempt your taste buds! To view the concession choices NewBridge Bank Park has to offer, please click here. No outside food or beverage is permitted inside the stadium.

CONDUCT
No abusive language or any behavior that can be viewed as offensive to others will be tolerated anywhere at NewBridge Bank Park. Fans are strictly prohibited from entering the playing field at any time. Failure to adhere to NewBridge Bank Park policies will result in ejection from the stadium.

COOLER AND CONTAINERS
No drinks, bottled water, cans, bottles or coolers are allowed into NewBridge Bank Park.

CREDIT CARDS
The Hoppers Yard merchandise store and Grasshoppers Box Office accept MasterCard, Visa, Discover and American Express. Concession stands now take credit cards!  (This excludes the GoTriad Grandstand). There is an ATM located behind Section 108 for your convenience.

Letters to Greensboro Grasshoppers players should be addressed to the players in care of:

If a response is desired, please enclose a self-addressed, stamped envelope. The Greensboro Grasshoppers cannot assume responsibility for lost, misdirected, or unanswered requests.

FIRST AID
Certified paramedics and the Greensboro Police Department are on duty patrolling stadium areas at all times during the games to ensure your safety. Should you need assistance, please notify a Grasshoppers staff member or visit the First Aid Station, located behind Section 114 on the first base side.

FOUL BALLS
Heads up! Foul balls can be very dangerous, so for your own safety, please pay attention to the field when the game is in progress. Any foul ball that is hit into the stands may be kept as a souvenir, however fans may not go outside of the park or onto the playing field to retrieve foul balls.

GATES OPEN
Gates at NewBridge Bank Park open one hour prior to game time.

GIFT CERTIFICATES
Gift certificates for Grasshoppers merchandise and tickets can be purchased at the Grasshoppers office or at The Hoppers Yard.

HANDICAP SEATING
Handicap seating is available behind the back row of the seating bowl in sections 101, 103, 106, 107, 108, 109, 112, and 114. An elevator behind Section 107 is accessible for those fans with tickets for the suite level or YES! Weekly Party Deck. The Eugene, Edgeworth and Plaza gates offer handicap accessible entrances to NewBridge Bank Park.

HANDICAP PARKING
Handicap parking is available in the Edgeworth Street lot, located behind the GoTriad Grandstand. For your convenience, we suggest purchasing your tickets in advance, as there is no ticket outlet available at that entrance.

KID’S CLUB

LAWN SEATING
Lawn seating is on a first come, first served basis. Fans are welcome to bring blankets into the lawn areas at NewBridge Bank Park, however, lawn chairs, large umbrellas, wagons, carts, and balloons are not permitted.

LOST AND FOUND
Items can be turned in to, or retrieved from, the Customer Service Booth located behind Section 110.

MERCHANDISE
All the latest Hoppers gear can be found at The Hoppers Yard located on the main concourse behind home plate. The store is open throughout the game, with regular store hours from 10:00am-4:00pm Monday through Friday. You can shop 24/7 in our online Hoppers Yard!


PAGING
Paging services are only available in the case of an emergency. If you need a fan paged, please speak to a representative at the Customer Service Booth.

PARKING
Over six parking lots surround the stadium on Grasshoppers game days, ranging from $3-$5. Free parking is available in the two downtown parking decks after 6:00pm and on the weekends.

PLAY AREA
The Rotary Play Park is located down the first base line and is specially designed to be kid friendly! For your safety, parents should not leave their children unattended.

PLAYER AND MASCOT APPEARANCES
Requests for player and mascot appearances must be submitted in writing, at least three weeks in advance, to the Greensboro Grasshoppers community relations department. A copy of the request form is available by clicking here .

RADIO BROADCAST
All 70 Grasshopper home games are broadcast by Andy Durham on WPET 950AM and can be heard over the internet at http://www.wpetam950.com.

RAIN OUTS
In the event five innings of one game are not completed, your ticket may be good for any remaining 2009 regular season home game, based on availability. Your ticket may be exchanged at the Grasshoppers Box Office for a ticket of equal value, subject to availability. There will be no refunds issued.

When the game is officially delayed, play will continue as soon as weather permits. Tickets cannot be refunded or exchanged.

If the Grasshoppers cancel a game due to weather prior to gates opening, it will be posted immediately on our website, www.gsohoppers.com.

REDUCED TICKET PRICE
Children 12 and under and Senior Citizens 62 and over will receive $2 off the normal ticket price.

RE-ENTRY
For your safety, re-entry is not permitted into NewBridge Bank Park for any reason. Fans will need to purchase another ticket in order to gain admittance back into the ballpark once they leave.

RESTROOMS
Restrooms are located throughout the concourse and are handicapped accessible. A family restroom is located near the First Aid Station on the first base side, behind section 114.

SECURITY
All fans and their bags are subject to inspection upon entering NewBridge Bank Park. Glass, alcohol, bottled water, food, weapons, laser pointers and any other objects deemed disruptive by security are not permitted into NewBridge Bank Park.

SMOKING
Smoking is allowed only in designated areas in the GoTriad Grandstand, behind right field and on the suite level. There is no smoking allowed in the seating bowl or the covered concourse area.

SUITE ACCESS
Fans with tickets for seats on the suite level or the YES! Weekly Party Deck may use the stairs on either end of the concourse or the elevator located behind Section 107. Please retain your ticket to ensure your access to those areas.

WILL CALL
Tickets purchased over the phone (and not mailed) or left by Grasshopper staff, players and coaches may be picked up at the State Farm Will Call tent, located at the Plaza entrance. Proper identification is required to claim the tickets.

YMCA FAMILY SECTION
The YMCA Family Section is located in Section 114 near the Rotary Play Park and designed for families and young children. Alcohol and inappropriate behavior are not permitted in this section.
