EASTLAKE, OH - The Grasshoppers fell victims to mother nature again Thursday evening, as rain forced a delay and the games' ultimate suspension.
The Lake County Captains took a 4-1 lead in the top of the 5th inning before the rain struck the Eastlake area. The suspended game is scheduled to resume Friday May 29th at 4 p.m.
After the completion of yesterday's match-up, the Grasshoppers and Captains will square off in double-header action to cap off the four game series. The twin bill will consist of two seven-inning games.
The Hoppers return home after the conclusion of the Lake County series to host the Lakewood BlueClaws and Hickory Crawdads as part of a six-game home stand. Tickets are on sale now.
