GREENSBORO, N.C. – The Greensboro Grasshoppers will begin 2006 individual ticket sales at 9 a.m. on Saturday, February 25, at First Horizon Park. To enhance the event, the Hoppers have planned a day full of fan activities.

At 9 a.m. the box office will open to sell tickets to all 70 of the Grasshoppers home games. The first 100 fans to purchase tickets will receive a mini stadium replica. Panera Bread will provide bagels for the first 100 early rising fans and coffee will be supplied by Carvel, while supplies last.

All fans are encouraged to come out to the ballpark, run the bases, try their arm out at speed pitch and enjoy the festivities. All fans in attendance will receive a 10% discount on purchases made in the Hoppers Yard. Spaz and Guilford, two of the Hoppers’ biggest fans, will be giving away prizes throughout the event. Additionally, the team will be holding National Anthem try-outs.

Fans who cannot make it to the ballpark can buy tickets online at www.gsohoppers.com.  Orders can be placed by phone beginning at 9 a.m. on Monday, February 27th.
