Kaid is entering his first year with the Grasshoppers as the Assistant Groundskeeper. Although born in Pennsylvania, Kaid grew up all over Ohio, and will always consider himself an Ohio boy. He first became interested in Minor League baseball while completing a grounds/stadium operations internship with the Mahoning Valley Scrappers, a rookie A affiliate of the Cleveland Indians.

Kaid enjoys all sports and has been a baseball and football player his entire life. He is a diehard Indians fan and will stick with his Browns, Cavs, and Buckeyes no matter what. Kaid is the youngest of four children and currently has six nieces and nephews who he loves more than anything.

Kaid took management classes at Marietta College for two years before transferring to Muskingum College and majoring in Business. He is currently working on finishing a few classes and receiving his Business Degree.
